Lamplight is a simple, personal app for tracking how much of the Bible you have read. This policy explains what information the app does — and does not — collect. In short: Lamplight collects no personal data and sends nothing off your device.
None. Lamplight does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or location. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
The chapters you mark as read, your notes, and your prayers are saved only on your own device, in the app's local storage. This information is never uploaded to us or to any server, and we cannot see it.
If you use the app's Back up feature, a file containing your reading data is created and handed to whatever app you choose to save or send it with (for example your device's Files app, Google Drive, or email). What happens to that file after that is governed by the service you chose, not by Lamplight. We never receive a copy.
Because Lamplight collects no data, there is nothing for us to share, sell, or disclose to anyone.
Your data lives on your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in your device settings, permanently removes all of it. (For this reason we recommend making a backup before reinstalling or switching phones.)
Lamplight does not collect any information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
